My dear sweet Chloe's been sick for so long. I can still recall on June 27th that Chloe suddenly told me she couldn't breathe at 2330 while she was having her late dinner that nite. Bruno and I thought she was only playing doctocr game again. So I asked her if she's playing, then she told me that her back, her tummy and her chest were painful and asked me to bring her to hospital. Then I knew it was serious, so I paged her doctor and went to hospital, and my tears just couldn't stop. I was so scared and worried. That nite, it turned out that she had only a little asthma but something blocked her nose instead. On June 30th, Chloe had inflammation at her throat and she started to cough. On July 1st and 2nd, Chloe started to cough very badly at nite and she couldn't sleep when lying down. From my own asthma experience, I knew that she might be suffering the same. I huddled her to sleep so she could feel a little better, and praying that she's only having a bad cough or allergy or flu. On July 3rd (after all those public holidays), I brought Chloe to doctor in morning. Doctor told me that Chloe was really suffering from asthma... which's the thing I most worried about since I got pregnant. I can't remember how many times I've cried in the room with Chloe when she's coughing during the last couple weeks. Chloe's been sleeping with me so that I can take full care of her. There're times that she's in danger that could have been short of breath anytime. There're times that Chloe's being very cranky due to medicine. There're times I felt so helpless and lost. Fortunately, with the warmest support of my dear husband - Bruno. We've won this war. Chloe's now much better and hopefully after this 4-wk treatment, she can really get rid of asthma.
